Stitch by Stitch: An Introduction to Embroidery

A beginners’ embroidery workshop for teens and adults led by local artist Nikki Ray, in Event Hall A at the Philip & Jerry Miller Library: setting up a hoop, transferring a simple pattern, and the basic stitches, French knots and satin stitch among them, with a starter pattern to finish and take home. Materials provided; the library lists no fee; registration opens December 22 on its event page. The same class runs in Parker on January 8, so register for one or the other.
