The County’s fairgrounds host more than 800 events a year, from local gatherings and weddings to trade shows, concerts, festivals and rodeos, in indoor and outdoor spaces that can be rented. Open riding is offered in the indoor arena through the year, and the 2026 Douglas County Fair & Rodeo runs July 24 to August 2. Drivers reach it from Plum Creek Parkway by turning onto Fairgrounds Road. The street is given as Fairgrounds Road on the County’s directions page and its Fairgrounds Regional Park page, while the Fairgrounds site footer prints “500 Fairgrounds Dr.”; the address here follows the County’s pages.
